Indian River Michigan lies in the center of The tip of the Mitt with direct access to 100's of miles of
ORV Trails, Sideby Side and Jeep Routes and Motorcycle Trails. Although the DNR only shows one 17 mile route we
have mapped in and developed 4 additional routes for all size off road vehicles. In our map section will find
a printable map of the routes with GPX files for your GPS for these 5 routes. We also have GPX files for route leading
to Atlanta, Millersburg, Black Mountain Recreation area and more. There are GPS routes from 17 miles to 140 miles.
Riding the area you will find all kinds of terrain. There are sandy areas, hard packed dirt, Hill climbs, water, mud holes,
and even a hilly scramble area. You will pass over rivers, past lakes, heavy wooded areas and wild meadows.
You also have easy access to fuel, restaurants, swim beaches, campgrounds, fishing and lodging facilities.
In need of parts and service, no problem. There are Can Am, Arctic Cat, and Polaris dealers in town and close by as well as
independent parts and accessories stores in the area.

While in Indian River there are many activities to enjoy and sites to see. Located in the middle of Michigan's famed Inland Waterway
you have endless boating and fishing opportunities as well as many sandy beaches. There are several golf courses within minutes with a miniature golf course right in town.
Indian River is close to Petoskey and Cheboygan for a night at the Movie Theater. The area has hiking and biking trails, antique shops, elk viewing and bird watching.
There is also great canoeing,kayaking, tubing and rafting on the Sturgeon and
Pigeon
Rivers.
